Why GRAILS?

GRAILS was born from my frustration as a watch enthusiast — I couldn’t find a holder that felt as special as the watches I wore. The options were practical, but none gave my home that same ‘je ne sais quoi‘ my watch brought to my wrist. 

With a passion for watches and classic cars, I set out to create something that captured the spirit of both. Crafted from solid aluminum and bovine leather — the same materials found in vintage sports cars — each watch holder has a distinctive look and feel, like the patina on a cherished watch or the stone chips on a car that's been driven hard.

Like swapping a strap or spec’ing your dream car, each holder comes with two leather inlay options, so you can truly make it yours. Every detail is there for a reason, so you can match it to the car of your dreams or the one in your driveway.

GRAILS is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and every watch holder is produced and assembled by hand before it ships off to a new home. 

To me, great design should leave a mark on the world, outlasts us and be passed onto others to enjoy.
