Who’s behind GRAILS?

My name is Philip, and I am just a regular guy who’s massively into watches. Sound like someone you know?

In 2017, I got bitten by the watch bug and haven’t been able to let go since. Today, it’s watches galore in just about everything I do. Besides watches, I have a keen interest in cars (classic) and design, in particular furniture design. Being born in Denmark and living in Copenhagen might have had a heavy influence on me, having been exposed to iconic design classics from the likes of Arne Jacobsen, Poul Kjærholm and Finn Juhl to name a few of my favourites. 

The ‘why’ of it all...

If you’re a watch enthusiast it’s no surprise that watches and cars are as iconic a duo as Peanut Butter & Jam or Batman & Robin. In short, I wanted to create a watch holder that reflected my passion for watches and cars, while giving my home interior that extra 'je ne sais quoi'. Maybe it will do the same for yours.

To me, great design should leave a mark on the world, outlasts us and be passed onto others to enjoy.
