Crafting Berlin
Every Berlin is the result of meticulous craftsmanship. From molten aluminum to handcrafted leather, each step is carefully executed to create something exceptional. Explore the journey of Berlin and discover the attention to detail that makes it truly unique.
Shaping an icon
To create each Berlin, consistency is key. The journey begins with a casting mould, where molten aluminum is poured by hand and left to cool. Once solidified, the mould is opened, revealing Berlin’s iconic shape. At this stage, the raw castings have rough edges, so each piece undergoes a bead blasting process where thousands of tiny glass beads are fired at the surface leaving it smooth and refined. The process from start to finish takes approximately 4–6 weeks.

Primed to perfection
To capture the automotive spirit of its origins, we work with a paint shop specializing in automotive restoration. This ensures a shared understanding for finishing and the use of paints and lacquers that are tried and tested. The process begins by removing contaminants from the surface, followed by the application of a primer. Once the primer is applied, each Berlin is hand-sanded to perfection before the paint process starts. After the paint and lacquer has been applied they are left to cure in an oven for a flawless finish.
A touch of heritage
The final step in the production process is the leather inlay, which adds elegance, functionality, and reminiscent of car interiors of the past. Our bovine leather is sourced from Spain, and each piece is handcrafted with care and precision. The leather inlay is applied by hand using Velcro to attach it within the cradle. It’s designed to be removable, allowing customers to color-match their Berlin to the car of their dreams—or the one in their driveway.

WE'RE IN IT FOR LIFE. ARE YOU?
Your Berlin was made to last, not just for you, but for the generations that follow. Each holder comes with a lifetime guarantee — a promise that it will stand the test of time, just like the watches it protects. Scratches, patina, and the marks of use become part of its story. But if it ever fails because of how it was made, we’ll repair or replace it — for life, at no cost to you. When something is built right, it only needs to be built once.
